A day in Estanzuela...
A typical day in Estanzuela begins with breakfast: an infusion, toasts with home-made marmalade, always served on top of a nice tablecloth. In the morning there are opportunities for exercise, with a classic 2km jog to the Palo Verde. Although it is also great staying home reading a good book in the east gallery with the Sierras Comechingones view. At mid-day an old bell is heard, lunch is ready.
The food is simple, salad and a dessert never miss. A nice shot of cofee or tea after lunch, only if you don't want to sleep a siesta. Our guests generally agree: there is no place like this to sleep a revitalizing siesta. The afternoon is the ideal moment for excursions and adventure, to get out from the estancia's main house and meet nature, to ride horses, admire the work of the gauchos, or go on a photo safari. There is nothing like watching a sunset on top of the Estanzuela sierra's and come down hurried by the arrival of darkness.
The night is the time to play table games, cards and take a vermouth while waiting dinner. Supper at Estanzuela is a very social moment, to tell each other what happened during the day and plan the following day.
It still isn't time to go to bed, thousands of stars and the very same milky way await for us near the corrals, we can lay down on the grass, see some shooting stars fall, and finally yes, go to sleep.
